Metroid Dread launches on October 8, 2021, for the Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, the latter two are also hard to play these days, as they were not re-released for any modern systems, like the 3DS or the Switch.įor players that want to save even more time and just play the essentials, going through the 2D games is recommended, especially Metroid Fusion. To save some time with these playthroughs, it might be worth skipping out on some of the more disappointing entries in the series, such as Metroid Prime: Federation Force and the titles that have little to do with the main storyline Metroid Prime Hunters and Metroid Prime Pinball. Inside the Impact Crater, Metroid Prime thrives. Intergalactic bounty hunter Samus Aran receives a distress signal from a wrecked frigate in orbit around planet Tallon IV. It was where a Leviathan from Phaaze, which brought the Phazon to Tallon IV, crashed. NARUTO, Hinata, Naruhina, Naruto Uzumaki are the most. exciting announcement on the heels of the release of Metroid Prime Remastered Oct 13. Luckily, Metroid Dread comes out in about 4 months from now, giving gamers a good chunk of time to get the ultimate task done. The Impact Crater is the area deepest down in Tallon IVs surface, located southwest of Tallon Overworld and east of Magmoor Caverns. Metroid Prime has a length of approximately 13 and a half hours when focusing on the main objectives. This makes it the longer then his Metroid Prime completion run. If you are either a seasoned gamer or looking to get into it, this game is for you.To finish off every single Metroid game before Metroid Dread launches, players are looking at spending at least 110 hours, and that's not counting completionist runs. Metroid Prime Remastered is a remastered version of Metroid Prime that was released for the Nintendo Switch in 2023. I would highly recommend this to everybody. However, as a more experienced video game player this game was a cakewalk and I would’ve enjoyed the challenge. This could be a good thing to first time players and newcomers to video games as a whole because the low difficulty allows for the gameplay to shine through. Even though I played it on the hardest difficulty, I barely struggled. Really my only problem with this game is that it is relatively easy. No mechanic is wasted and every one has time to shine. From the start of the game to the end, “Prime” introduces mechanic upon mechanic effortlessly. While the exploration is fantastic in this game, the gameplay itself is my favorite aspect of it. You can either speedrun it or play it at a snail’s pace and you are going to get a great game both ways. Normal Wii is easier than normal on gamecube. Veteran Wii is the same as normal on gamecube and Hypermode Wii is the same as hard on gamecube. I definitely took a slower gameplay approach as it took me around 15 hours to complete but depending on your pacing you will either finish it more quickly or more slowly. Hard mode has half weapon damage (Except PBs/Bombs/Plasma Burn) and samus takes 1.53x damage compared to normal. The map and world is so sprawling that it is easy to get lost and forget the main objective. The exploration in this game is top tier and I don’t think I saw everything this game has to offer. “Metroid Prime” is about the atmosphere and placing you in Samus’ shoes as you explore the foreign planet. It doesn’t really go any deeper than that but I don’t think it needs to. Metroid Prime Remastered is an amazing return of Metroid Prime and one of the best video games released for Nintendo Switch. The story can be summed up in essentially one sentence Samus, the protagonist of the game, crash lands on a planet and has to get her powers back in order to defeat the bad guy. Image: Nintendo Metroid Prime Remastered is a hi-fi return to the home planet for anyone who played Nintendo’s iconic action-adventure game when it first came out back in 2002. This game doesn’t really have a plot, the few story beats act as thrusts in order to get to the next gameplay section. Luckily, Nintendo and Retro Studios decided to go back and polish this gem up for a new generation. Mainly because this game was landlocked to the Nintendo GameCube for nearly two decades and the high prices of used games from that era of gaming. I heard about the stellar reviews and high praise about this game but I never got around to playing it. Besides the recent “Metroid Dread” I have never played a single Metroid game prior to the remastered edition of “Prime.” I was vaguely familiar with the series through the likes of the “Super Smash Brothers” series and other crossovers, but when it came to the actual games I was basically an alien.
